One Title, One Genre, Five Days, One 3 Minute Film
The Hastings Film Challenge is back and it's time again for anyone to make a short 3 min. film against the clock in an atmosphere of fun, creativity and good-hearted competition.
Dust off the camera, power up the PC and get film-making. It starts when YOU decide to say 'Action'. You may have a story and always thought it would make a good short film,
combine that with the title and genre you pick. You now have the ingredients of a movie!
As well as the general public, the challenge hopes to attract all walks of life including colleges & youth groups with the objective of promoting creativity, education, inclusivity and community via the world of guerilla film-making.
Whether an individual or group, anyone who always wanted to make a film but never knew how, or college students involved in media courses, the challenge encourages the production of broadcast-quality media, offering workshops, advice and skills in completing their final piece.
Electronic gadgetry and cash prizes, along with the coveted Logie Awards will be presented to winners at the award ceremony in Hastings Old Town. A second screening of all films entered plus past winners with be shown at the HFC Sunday Cinema.
