Pete Doherty's Babyshambles and Brighton's own British Sea Power are set to headline the inaugral NME Weekender festival at Pontins, Camber Sands later this year.

The festival takes place from November 5-7 on the beautiful, windswept East Sussex holiday camp. Other confirmed acts include Citadels, Chew Lips, The Crookes and Goldhawks.

NME editor Krissi Murison exclaimed, 'This will be an amazing weekend for live music with some of the most exciting bands and hottest new music all under one roof. With no concerns about the weather this is going to be all about the party!'

Tickets for the NME Weekender cost £95 and are on sale now. For full details, visit www.nme.com/weekender
