The biggest night in the region's clubbing calendar takes place this weekend, when Eastbourne Festival Live comes to the Winter Garden.

Roni Size headlines tomorrow night's main stage, alongside fellow drum & bass artists Shy FX, Dillinja, Brookes Brothers, Hazard, Stamina MC, Fearless, MC ID, Bruno MC, Ray Rampage, DC, GStar, Rush, Keen, Noaksey, Skitz Tripz and Hijak.

The Gold Room is given over to dubstep, liquid, electro and fidget sounds, with Yoshi-P, Dcrucial, Koi, Flex, Casio, Flipside, Mischief, Wobblewob and Tom Hosker.

Size is one of the best-known names in drum & bass, winning the Mercury Music Prize with Reprazent's 1997 album New Forms. Size continued to release big-selling albums, including Touching Down and Return To V, before re-forming the Reprazent collective in 2008 for well-received international dates.

A free warm-up party for Eastbourne Festival Live ticket-holders takes place tonight (Friday) at Coco, with sets from Brimmer, Rush, Koi, Casio, Wobblewob, Enigma, Jnr Sounds and host MC Shy. Entry for people without tickets is £6. Doors 10pm.

The main Eastbourne Festival Live night starts at the Winter Gardens on Saturday (April 17), 10pm. Tickets cost £13.50 (£12 students), with a limited number made available on the door at the start of the evening. Visit www.eastbournefestivallive.com for more info.
