Communal Bins in Hastings - The Results
A major consultation commissioned by Hastings Borough Council to find out public views on rubbish and recycling has concluded this week.
Over half of the residents who responded to the questionnaire supported plans for communal bins, with 32 percent against, and the rest undecided. The report, which will be put to Hastings Borough Council’s Cabinet on Monday April 27, will explain that whilst the idea is favored by many, it would not be wise to implement it in all areas of Hastings and St Leonards.
This meeting will take place at 6pm and is open to the public.
