Fat Samurai Wins Award
An Eastbourne chef has won first prize in an unusual fat sculpting competition.
Christopher Zammit has previously won awards around the world for his cooking talents, but he's also a dab hand at creating artwork from pastry fat. His sculpture of a samurai warrior took top place in the Works In Fat competition, held at the Hospitality 2009 trade show at Birmingham NEC over January 19-21.
Zammit, of Camilleri Caterers, beat all other entrants for the second year running with his delicately sculpted figurine.
