Borough kick off their biggest season ever.
Eastbourne Borough FC play their first home game of a historical season this weekend.
They face Bromley at Priory Lane in a friendly.
Borough scooped promotion into the Blue Square National Conference last season. It’s the country’s fifth highest league and only four below the premiership itself.
The club was boosted further by the arrival of Colin Hutchinson*, former chairman of Chelsea FC, in a voluntary capacity.
He retired to Eastbourne and offered his support out of the blue, to the astonishment of Priory Lane chiefs.
This weekend EBFC take on Bromley of the N L 2 Conference (league) in a friendly.
It is the first opportunities to see the squad perform on their newly re-laid pitch, in Langney.
New signing Chris Winterton will also be on show.
