EBO band at Brighton Live

The soulful and splendid Iris and the Wolves will feature at Brighton Live tomorrow.
The Eastbourne band are a last minute replacement for Astrid Williamson who cancelled her show at the London Unity after losing her voice.
‘Being asked to headline during Brighton Live, and replacing such a well thought after act means a lot to us,’ said band singer Fiona.
‘We’ve actually got a bit of a fan base thanks to our myspace page and people have already said they’re coming along to the gig. We’ve been amazed by Myspace. Initially we thought it would be good for networking, but we never realised people would take the trouble to come to our gigs!’
Fiona and the band then plan to head off to watch Kate Walsh at the Constant Service.
‘She’s amazing and beautiful – and what people who brought the Katie Melua album thought they were getting.’
