BBC2s Flog It Comes To Eastbourne
Ever wondered how much that old chest of drawers in the front room is worth? Or maybe the value of the dusty Cliff Richard vinyl collection, conveniently hidden in the dark recesses of your attic? Chances are, probably nothing. However, now’s your chance to get an experts opinion as on Sunday September 3, BBC2s ever popular antiques show, Flog It, is coming to Eastbourne Town Hall.
The show, hosted by Paul Martin, a younger, less orange and predominantly less cheesy, version of David Dickinson, allows the public to have their antiques viewed and valued by professionals, with the option to sell at an auction.
In order to give everyone a chance to have their goods viewed, there is a limit of three items per person, so if you’re planning on bringing your entire back catalogue of Radio Times magazines, then think again. If the experts like what they see then you could be given the opportunity to enter an auction which will take place a couple of weeks after the initial viewing.
So if you’re interested in finding out the worth of any potential treasures you’ve squirreled away, then get on down to the Town Hall on Sunday and let the experts give them the once over.
Admission to the event is free, valuations will take place between 9.30 -16.30 and the whole day will be filmed.
